Antelope Valley - 2017
With winter rains finally falling into Southern California for the first time in nearly half a decade, it has caused green pastures to spread this Spring from Santa Barbara to San Diego. This sudden renewal of life also includes the wide-variety of wildflowers that grow just north of Los Angeles. The star among the variety of flowers is the bright orange poppy flower. With the lifespan of this particular poppy being only a few short weeks, I took a jog about 1-hour out of LA city limits to take in the intoxicating scenery.
